The CDL Chinook Evaporator has an automated air adjustment system that allows a highly efficient, non-polluting combustion, even if the operator burns very poor qualify firewood with variable humidity.
Clean combustion, very little polluting emissions. Complete temperature control in the chimney (maximum 650°F). Time between wood loading: 30 to 60 minutes, depending on quantity. Very efficient and fast start-up and ignition. Boiling stability comparable to pellet and oil evaporators. Very quiet. Combustion creosote free. Very safe. Stable syrup draw-off.
The CDL energy Inten-O-Fire wood evaporator is the only one on the market that allows the user to choose between two different types of firewood combustion : Air forced combustion or combustion by gasification.
Forced air combustion
Great evaporation rate (Between 4 and 5 gals/ft² of pan surface). 30% less wood consumption than a conventional evaporator. Meets the environmental requirements of greenhouse gas emissions. No soot or creosote.
Combustion by gasification
Evaporation from 3 to 3.5 gal/ft² of pan surface. Load every 45 minutes or better. Wood consumption 40% less than a conventional evaporator. Eliminates sparks coming out of the smoke stack. Meets the environmental requirements of greenhouse gas emissions. No soot or creosote.
