Neutralization of pH

CDL offers now for the neutralization of pH of wash waters in maple syrup production in order to allow its customers to comply with the new standard of the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment and Fight Against Climate Change in the Quebec Province, in Canada. The Regulatory scheme applying to activities on the basis of their environmental impact was filed in September 2020 and entered into force on December 31^st, 2020.

This new equipment is dedicated to the neutralization of the pH of wash water discharges by injection and controlled dosage of sodium hydroxide or citric acid in liquid form. Two PH probes monitor the neutralization process. Wastewater is directed to a neutralization tank before being discharged once neutralized into the environment.

The device operates autonomously with little human intervention. It can also be linked to different equipment emitting alkaline or acidic wash water and compatible control and monitoring systems. Some optional accessories are also available on request.
